| FC Chaplin's Code of Conduct: | |
| A player should: | |
| 1. | Make every effort to develop their own sporting abilities in terms of skill, technique, tactics and stamina. |
| 2. | Give maximum effort and strive for the best possible performance during a game, even if his team is in a position |
| where the desired result has already been achieved. | |
| 3. | Set a positive example for others, particularly younger players and supporters and not use inappropriate language. |
| Obligations towards ones own Team and respect towards Opponents | |
| A player should: | |
| 1. | Make every effort consistent with Fair Play and the Laws of the Game to help his own team win. |
| 2. | Resist any influence which might, or might be seen to, bring into question his commitment to the team winning. |
| 3. | Treat opponents with due respect at all times, irrespective of the result of the game. |
| 4. | Safeguard the physical fitness of opponents, avoid violence and rough play and help injured opponents. |
| Respect for the Laws of the Game and Competition Rules | |
| A player should: | |
| 1. | Know and abide by the laws, rules and spirit of the game and the competition rules. |
| 2. | Accept success and failure, victory and defeat, equally and resist any temptation to take banned substances or use |
| banned techniques. | |
| Respect towards Match Officials and Team Officials | |
| A player should: | |
| 1. | Accept the decision of the Match Official without protest and avoid words or actions which may mislead them. |
| 2. | Show due respect to Match Officials and under no circumstances direct foul and abusive language towards them. |
| 3. | Abide by the instructions of their Coach and Team Officials, provided they do not contradict the spirit of this Code. |
| 4. | Show due respect towards the Team Officials of the Opposition. |
| Club Fines | |
| 1. | Straight Red Card: Automatic 10 Euros fine. Yellow Card for dissent: Automatic 5 Euros fine. |
| 2. | Any other cards at the discretion of the Management. |
| 3. | The Management also reserve the right to impose fines on any player not adhering to the Code of Conduct. |
| 4. | Players are reminded that their conduct on the pitch has a direct effect on the rest of the team. Instances of fighting |
| head-butting, spitting and verbal and physical abuse of opposition players, managers and the referee will not only | |
| 5. | hinder the success of our team but will also incur our heaviest fines. Please keep your conduct within the rules at |
| all times, we cannot afford unnecessary sending-offs and suspensions. | |
| 6. | Remember, we are in a Spanish League with Spanish Referees and they will undoubtedly infuriate you, as will the |
| antics of the spanish players ( diving, screaming, crying etc ). We cannot take an english Sunday league mentality | |
| into these games. | |
| Selection, Training and Match Days | |
| 1. | If a player is selected and does not turn up for the game without a valid reason or if he fails to inform the Manager |
| of his absence he will automatically be excluded from selection for the following game. | |
| 2. | The kit will be washed by The Club. A player will attend match days in day to day clothing and change with the |
| team. All kit is to be handed back to The Club after each game. | |
| 3. | All players are expected to arrive at league match venues at least 45 minutes before kick-off. This is to allow |
| sufficient time for kit-checks, team talks, warm-ups and collection of match fees. | |
| 4. | Players are asked to be flexible and understanding with regards to team selections. Players may well be chosen to |
| play in unfavourable positions, but this will be done to benefit the team overall so please respect the decisions. | |
| 5. | Any player who will be unavailable for matches due to holidays, commitments, sickness etc must inform the |
| Mangager as soon as possible so that their exclusion can be noted. | |
| 6. | The league rules allow for unlimited roll-on, roll-off substitutions. We will endeavour to get everyone time on the pitch |
| but this cannot be guaranteed. | |

| Monies | |
| 1. | To help offset the purchase of kits, match refreshments and league fees etc, every player who is selected as part |
| of the squad for a match will be expected to pay the match fee of 5 Euros if you are in the starting 11 or 3 Euros | |
| if you start on the bench. | |
| 2. | Training on a Wednesday afternoon in La Nucia will incur a 3 Euros charge to cover the hire of the pitch, drinks etc. |
| 3. | Newly signed players are expected to pay a 50 Euros signing-on fee. This will then drop to just 20 Euros when they |
| come to re-sign for the following Season. This fee is to be paid to The Club as soon as possible. | |
